Arrow Airlines Pilot Wing 1st Issue

Arrow Air started in California in 1947 and moved to Miami in 1963. At that time it operated as a leasing company. The airline shut down in 1953 but continued FBO operations and aircraft brokering. In 1981, Arrow relauched as a charter airline and started scheduled service in 1982. They filed for chapter 11 bankrupcy in early 1995 but continued in business. Fine Air acquired Arrow Air in 1999 but Arrow Air continued opertions under its own name. Due to financial problems, Fine Air went bankrupt in 2000 but Arrow Air continued service under its own name. Arrow Air continued to have financial problems and ceased scheduled operations on June 30, 2010. After failing to find a buyer, the company liquidated.
